There are many German words that can’t be directly translated into English. One of our favorites is Wahlberliner, or “choice Berliner”, those of us not actually born in here in Berlin, but who have become Berliners all the same. Each of us is familiar with the history, society, and culture of this city and of Germany as a whole. We came here from around the world for different reasons, and we love our chosen home. We’re all current or recent students with degrees in the historical, cultural and political fields that we are most passionate about. We’re really looking forward to meeting you and teaching you about Berlin.
